Easter Came Early!

Although it was been raining (more like sprinkling) at times this week, I have been enjoying the spring weather. The cool breeze feels good outside and the flowers are in full bloom. I keep trying to go to the bathroom in the flowers but Mom won't let me.
If you know my mom, you know she loves flowers. She took the above picture at the nursing home where she works.
Also, if you know my mom, you know she loves animals. The picture below is a picture of Cody, the cat at the nursing home. She says that at first she thought there were several cats who live there. One day she asked one of the nurses who informed her there was only one cat. Cody seems to be in every room Mom goes in. In this picture, Cody is lounging in the chair in the therapy room. Maybe one day I, too, can go to Mom's work. But, I do not want to live there - just visit the people (not the cat).

Mom has been a little bummed out this week because she is going to miss Harrison's first Easter. On the way home, she saw this train and had to take a picture for him.
Happy Easter Little Buddy!

When she got home, she noticed that I received my care package from my grandparents and Great Mamaw. Thank you for the treats and bone. Thanks also to Grandmother and W.H. for the funny Easter card.

Don't let me lead you to believe that Mom and Dad did not receive anything but they will not share their chocolates (in particularly Mom since Dad is such a picky eater even when it comes to candy). Mom is already trying to decide what type of indoor plant that she can pot in her new colorful ceramic container once all the Easter candy is gone. Any suggestions?

  1. Hey! I'll have to tell Oliver that he needs to get busy if he's going to be a therapy cat. He can't let that black and white cat have all the fun!! Enjoy your Easter, Sony!!

  4. Happy Easter, Brooms! Sony, don't eat all of your treats at once. (that's advice from experience!) Tell your mom & dad the same! Maybe they'll hide yours around the house and you can have a Sony-"egg hunt"! ;)
    Love you guys!
