Well, I have to brag on myself a little bit. My grandmother will be proud to know that I did not wake Mom or Dad up once last night to go out. However, I did get up quietly for a midnight snack - a girl's got to eat.
After a good night's rest, Mom and Dad went to Green Acres Baptist Church, where their former pastor Bro. David Dykes preaches and has been there since 1991. They said that they enjoyed the service and talking with him.
This is where I stayed while Mom and Dad were at church. My dad caught me sleeping when he came back to the car to take me for a walk after church. I basically slept in my portable apartment most of the day when they were sightseeing in Dallas. Today is my parent's 6th year wedding anniversary so I guess they deserve to spend a little time together just the two of them.
Mom said that she met this really tall man on the streets of downtown Dallas during a St. Patrick's Day festival. She wanted to buy me a bandana but they did not have my size in the fabric that she liked. Dad tried to convince her to buy an Alabama bandana but Mom knows that I pull for Auburn.
Mom and Dad also went to the Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas which is where the assassin was located when he shot President Kennedy during a parade while campaigning for the next Presidential term. But, I believe that it was a conspiracy because I sniffed out the scent of a second shooter on the grassy knoll. I guess we will never really know what happened.
