I think that my mom has lost her mind. Today, she walked in with a box full of fresh strawberries and smiling ear to ear. There are strawberry fields everywhere and people selling them standing on the side of the road. I have no idea how she is going to eat all of these strawberries considering me or Dad do not eat fruit of any kind. I overheard her say that she wishes Jen still lived next door because she would definitely put these strawberries to good use. I guess she needs to meet the new neighbors and share these strawberries with them.
Dad went to WyoTech today on a tour of the school. The campus consists of 3 large buildings where classrooms and large automotive workshops are located. He said there are as many tools as you can imagine and he can't wait to use them all.
I think that Mom and Dad are feeling guilty about taking me to a different part of the country and leaving me soon while they are at work and school. Our new family past time is going to the dog park. We have been three days in a row!
Sony, don't worry, there are plenty of things you can do with those strawberries, and if your mom runs out of ideas, I will be glad to share some with her! I just wish I was there to help her eat them all up!
ReplyDeleteThose strawberries look yummy! I have a great strawberry pie recipe that I could give your mom... Tell your mom I'm sorry I missed talking to her last night-I'll make it up soon! Miss you all! :)
ReplyDeleteSony, I bet if your mom left those strawberries on the edge of the countertop, your curiousity would get the best of you and you'd have a little taste. I think you would like them! Otis and Louie are jealous of your dog park trips. Their backyard is a pile of mud b/c the landscaper did not get to put down the sod before the monsoon came!
ReplyDeleteJenn said ya'll got to CA safe & sound. We will be praying for ya'll to get settled in soon!...looks like ya'll had a good trip over, what beautiful scenery!
